(Lev 26:11-12,\u00a0 1Ki_8:27; 2Ch_6:18, Eze_37:27)<\/li><li>Compare the Genesis 3:13-19 to Verse 4 &#8211; what has happened? What do you think is meant by &#8220;for the first things have come to an end&#8221;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verses 5-6<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jesus describes himself in verses 5-6 &#8211; what attributes do you find here?( Isa_43:19; 2Co_5:17)<\/li><li>What is Jesus offering? ( Isa_55:1-3,&nbsp; Jer_2:13)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verses 7-8<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What reward is offered to the victorious (overcomer)<\/li><li>Review and discuss the traits of those who will have their part in the sea of ever-burning fire which is the second death.<\/li><li>What do you think about this list of traits of the condemed and what does it say about you and your relationship with God?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verses 9-27<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Revelation 15:1 &#8211; the angels who were reigning destruction &#8211; now showing God&#8217;s glorious new city. What does this tell you about the character of the angels?<\/li><li>What do you think John means by &#8220;took him away in the Spirit&#8221;?<\/li><li>What was John seeing?<\/li><li>What do you think it means that the city was clear as glass?<\/li><li>What do you think it means that the city&#8217;s wall had 12 doors for the 12 tribes of Israel?<\/li><li>Verse 13 &#8211; review Numbers Chapter 2 for the way God ordered the Israelites to surround the tent of meeting.<\/li><li>For a cross-reference for verses 14 see Ephesians 2:19-21<\/li><li>Verses 16-17 detail the size of the town &#8211; 18&#8243; in cubit. &#8211; walls about 216 feet high.<\/li><li>What do you think a clear gold city surrounded by a jasper wall would look like?<\/li><li>What does it mean to you that there was no Temple in the new Jerusalem?<\/li><li>Picture a city with the Glory of God as it&#8217;s light &#8211; what does that tell you about God&#8217;s glory?<\/li><li>Read verse 24 and compare this to the world we know.
