Verses 3-14
- How long will the two witnesses give prophesy? See a comparison between the number of days that the city will be tread under foot?
- What do these two witnesses reveal about God’s character?
- Where did they get their power and prophesy?
- Who would protect them and how?
- Why are they there at this time?
- See Zechariah 4:2-14 – What was Zerubbabel’s mission in Israel?
- How might this be relevant to the mission of the two witnesses?
- When is the beast allowed to kill them?
- What does tell you about God’s sovereignty? Who is in control?
- Do the people know the meaning of the death of the two witnesses? How do you know?
- Why did God allow Satan to kill the two witnesses? Why did God allow the two witnesses to die without being buried and to be rejoiced over in their death?
- Does this give you any comfort in your mission for God?
- What effect did the resurrection of the witnesses have on the people of the earth and on their witness?

Verses 15-19
- Which trumpet is sounding?
