Verses 1-5
- Solomon starts each of his chapters so far with instructions on keeping his wisdom and heeding his commandments. How does his request differ from the typical advice a father would give his son?

- Again, Solomon is warning against following after the strange woman. What does this mean to you?
Verses 6-23
- Describe the young man that Solomon sees out his window. What do you see in him?
- How did he come upon the woman? Did he avoid going near temptation as Solomon adviced in Prov 5:8?
- What time of the day was it? What does this say about the timing and the condition of sin and tempation?
- How does the woman met him? How does he meet the woman? Who approaches whom? How does this describe sin and temptation in our lives?
- What does the woman have for him?
- How does she describe her bed? What does this tell you about sin and temptation? She seems to have thought this through, hasn’t she.
- Why does she say that the master of the house is gone for a long while? How does this make the sin easier?
- Is it hard for the young man to accept? Does he think about the implications of his decision?
Verses 24-27
- Again, Solomon asks that the young man listen. What does this say about Solomon’s understanding of youth and of men?
- Solomon describes two aspects of sin. First he describes temptation. How does he describe temptation? How does he describe sin?
- What does Solomon describe as the truth about her house? Compare that with the description of the woman in verses 14-19.
