Verses 1-15

Who was stricken with sores? What does this say about the character of God? (Exodus 9:10)
What caused the boils and who did they afflict? (Exodus 7:19-20)
After the first three plagues* what did the angel of the water say (verses 5 and 6) ? What does this say about the character of God?
What does the confirmation mean to you in verse 7? Recall the Jewish requirements for two witnesses (as God told them in Isaiah 43:9)? Do you think this applies?
What was the outcome of the burning sun in from the 4th angel\’s curse?
What did the people do at the suffering from the 5th angel\’s plague? (Exodus 10:21-23)
Discuss the plague of the 6th angel… What do you think the dry river for kings and the frogs mean? (Exodus 8:2-7)
Who do the demonic spirits of this world gather to fight on their behalf?
In verse 16* who is coming like a thief?
What does it mean to come like a thief? (Be prepared, alert and sober: Mat_24:42, Mat_25:13, Mat_26:41; Mar_13:33-37, Mar_14:38; Luk_12:37-43, Luk_21:36; Act_20:31; 1Th_5:6; 1Pe_4:7)
What do you think it means to keep on his garments to avoid walking naked and allowing people to see his shame? (Compare with Rev 3:18)

Verses 16-21

Who gathered them together in Armageddon?
The final plague was pured into the air
Who said “It is done?”
What was the result of the pouring of the 7th bowl?
Who received the great cup of wine of God’s wrath? Who do you think this is?
What character of God is revealed in Verse 19?
Every island fled and the mountains disappeared.
Describe the size of hailstones that fell? Where do you recall hailstones falling on people before?
What effect did the final plague have on the people?
Do you think God knows that the people will not turn to him before he started the plagues? If so, why does he still carry them out? What does this reveal about His character?
